When you meet your new baby (or multiple babies), the learning curve is steep. There is lots to do, it is an emotional time, physically challenging, and a big adjustment. There will be plenty of trial and error and the usual parental rites of passage. I will give you practical support and provide professional care to navigate it all with ease and confidence.

Postpartum support is not just for struggling parents- it is a sensible choice for any family with a newborn. Countless cultural traditions from around the world recognize a coming together and support for each other in this most vulnerable and intimate time. There is a knowing and understanding that we share and value. However, in our modern lives, many of us are doing it without the support of family or close friends nearby, or often without any newborn baby experience.

This is the missing link in today's modern birthing culture- where the standard of care for parents beyond birth is often clinical and few and far between. More than ever, there is pressure to resume life as usual and get back on-the-go. We are by-passing this important recovery and bonding time. 

 

In this short but transformational time, I want to help parents embrace and embody the experience with ease.  I will meet you where you are at without judgement, and jive with how you do it in your household. Think of me like a sister/auntie/friend, or another set of helping hands, but with expertise in newborn care and as an experienced professional in postpartum needs.
